This snapshot of data from the Department of Health provides key figures about aged care in the 2020–21 financial year up to 30 June 2021 and is a companion to the 2020–21 Report on the Operation of the Aged Care Act 1997. Previous releases have included: The first release (5/10/2021) provided population data and information on places, providers and services in selected programs (residential aged care, Home Care Packages, Restorative Care [Transition Care and Short-Term Restorative Care], and the flexible aged care programs). The second release (25/10/2021) provided information on Aged Care clients, residential care, transition care and home support data, in addition to the content provided in the first release.
